By a happy coincidence our favorite NYC building, the Flatiron Building,
was featured on the Dining Room curtain
Being (rarely) dressed up, we definatley found ways to relax.
One of the interesting aspects was being shuttled ashore
in the lifeboats when the port did not have docking
areas capable of handling a ship the size of the Mercury.
For shuttle service the lifeboats are lowered on davits to the sea,
the passangers load out of a low level gangway.
