We went ashore in Puerto Madryn - a major city....
... hopped on a bus.....
.... and rode more or less forever through the Patagonian plain
We knew somthign was up when we spotted llamas...
and finally Penguins - MANY penguins!
This bridge theoretically gives the penguins a free passage up hill -
some travel considerable distances to establish a burrow.
The penguins however seem pretty oblivious to the humans.....

At the time we were there the young were almost full grown but had not fledged yet
These pairs were having a dispute over rights to this burrow
